Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi

Pick up from the Noi Bai (HAN) airport and then transfer you to the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter – the most exciting place for tourists. After that you are free to visit Hanoi City by yourself.

Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay

Enjoy the peaceful scenery as you travel through the countryside, farmlands and Red River delta. Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina where you'll board your APRICOT cruise ship. Explore the Surprising Cave – the most beautiful cave in Ha Long Bay. It is one of the widest grottoes with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites. Visit the Titop Island, a floating Pearl Farm village, and enjoy the Sunset Party on deck.

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi

Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt. Enjoy breakfast on board while the boat starts cruising to the Natural Preservation Zone. Kayak to explore around the area or visit a floating house and learn about the daily life of the local fishermen who live there. Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more. Join in the Cooking Class, teaching you how to make spring rolls before an early lunch is served. Disembark at the harbor, Tuan Chau Marina. Transfer to minibus or private and return to Hanoi.

Day 4: Night train to Hue City

Today, you are free to visit Hanoi Old Quarter until transfer to Hanoi Train Station for soft-sleeper train to Hue City. On the train, you can view the beautiful country along the coastal line.

Day 5: Hue City

Check into your hotel in the ancient town and relax.

Day 6: Hue City

Head to Dong Ba Market to see the daily life of local people, and enjoy the hustle and bustle of this vibrant place. Afterwards, it's time for a dragon boat trip to Thien Mu pagoda - the oldest pagoda in Hue. Then it's time to see the regal Imperial Citadel, the home of Vietnam's last royal Nguyen Dynasty. The day consists of more historical insights, including Khai Dinh King’s Tomb - a blend of Western and Eastern architecture and Minh Mang King’s Tomb.

Day 7: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An

Bus pick up from your hotel and start journey to Hoi An City. On the way, bus will stop at Hai Van Pass for photo opportunities including the Linh Ung Pagoda, Marble Mountain in Da Nang City.

Day 8: Hoi An - My Son Tour

You'll leave Hoi An for the My Son Holy Land, surrounded by the marvellous mountains, 48km west of Hoi An. My Son was chosen as a religious centre, built in the late 4th century under the Cham’s King Bhadravaman. It is a huge religious complex with over 70 towers and temples of different architectures. Wander through the elaborate carvings and sculptures of the Cham people. Leaving My Son you'll take a boat trip on Thu Bon river.

Day 9: Flight to Ho Chi Minh City

Drive to Cai Be, where you'll spend a short time taking photos at Tan An town over the flat rice fields. Start the motorised boat to visit the Cai Be floating market, experiencing the exchanging of goods, fruit and many other commodities. Roam into the small villages to visit the orchard fruit plantation. Keep cruising to Vinh Long through small canals to enjoy the charm of the Upper Mekong Delta. Visit some handmade family business products such as the coconut candy mill and the crispy rice popcorn. Arrive in Binh Hoa Phuoc village, the green pearl of Vinh Long town where you can align yourself with nature. Have lunch with fresh river food served in the heart of the garden. Enjoy the southern Vietnamese traditional folk music. Take a nice walk through the bonsai garden, in Vinh Long. Head home to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City

Drive to Cu Chi, now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti-American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for it's original tunnels system of over 220km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The peacefully rural rice paddy scenery boasts ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers alongside the road. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was a "free target zone".

Day 12: Departure

After breakfast, enjoy exploring Ho Chi Minh City at your leisure, until you are transferred back to the airport for your flight back home.
